Marisma Equine Entertainment is born from the passion of couple Cliff and Renae Marisma to provide quality equine performances for public events. Through their shared knowledge, years of experience and dedication to what they do, they have now also developed a lesson and horsemanship program to support the next generation of equestrians in their education, passing on their valuable expertise to their students.

 

Cliff has been working with horses for 30 years and is a professional breaker and trainer. He trains in the traditional Spanish Doma Vaquera way and prides himself on how light, responsive and brave his bridle horses can be. Cliff was a professional bull rider in his younger years and has now turned his hand to the sport of solid lance jousting, winning at national level in both Australia and France.

 

Renae met Cliff 7 years ago and began training horses in the same method, having learnt from Cliff. She prides herself on trick training her horses to perform on cues and is the driving force behind the more weird and creative demonstrations such as side saddle shows and bridleless performances.
